Lifting and holding systems

Lifting, lashing and securing systems for moving, lifting, securing and handling loads in warehouses, workshops, industry, construction, transport, maintenance and professional installations.

Lifting and securing systems for loads

Lifting and securing systems allow loads to be lifted, moved, pulled, fixed or secured in professional work where safety and control are essential.

In this category you will find hoists, hoist trolleys, chain slings, slings, lashing straps, hooks, lifting clamps, grade 80 accessories, pallet trucks and other components for load handling.

Each product must be selected according to the load weight, type of operation, working environment, anchor point and capacity indicated by the manufacturer.

Equipment for lifting and moving loads

Lifting equipment helps lift loads in a controlled way, reducing manual effort and facilitating assembly, maintenance, loading, unloading and industrial handling work.

Manual and electric hoists

Hoists allow loads to be lifted by chain, lever or electric operation. They are common in workshops, warehouses, industry, maintenance and machinery assembly.

Hoist trolleys

Trolleys allow the hoist to move along a compatible beam or profile, making horizontal movement of the load easier within the work area.

Pallet trucks and accessories

Pallet trucks make it easier to move pallets and goods in warehouses, loading areas, workshops, shops and logistics facilities.

Lashing and securing elements

Lashing elements are used to fix, immobilise or secure loads during transport, storage or certain work operations.

Lashing straps with ratchet tensioner

Lashing straps with ratchet tensioner, also known as ratchet straps or ratchers, allow loads to be secured on vehicles, trailers, warehouses and transport work.

Polyester slings

Textile slings offer a lightweight and flexible solution for handling loads, reducing the risk of marks on certain materials when used correctly.

Cable slings and sling assemblies

Cable slings and sling assemblies allow work with heavy loads, metal elements and applications where high mechanical resistance is required.

Chain slings and G80 accessories

Chain slings and high-strength accessories are intended for lifting work where the load must be distributed between several legs or specific components must be used for demanding operations.

  • Chain slings: available in different configurations depending on number of legs and capacity.
  • Latch hooks: help keep the load correctly hooked during the operation.
  • Safety swivel hooks: facilitate load orientation and self-closing, depending on the model.
  • Hammerlock connecting links: allow compatible chains, hooks and accessories to be connected.
  • Grade 80 accessories: designed for lifting applications with high mechanical resistance.

Lifting clamps

Lifting clamps allow pieces that cannot be easily lifted with a conventional sling to be held and handled.

They are commonly used with sheets, profiles, steel plates, metal parts and other materials compatible with the selected clamp type.

Before using a clamp, check the accepted thickness, load capacity, working position and contact surface of the piece.

Common applications

  • Mechanical and industrial workshops.
  • Warehouses and loading areas.
  • Construction and civil works.
  • Machinery assembly.
  • Transport and securing of goods.
  • Installation maintenance.
  • Agriculture, irrigation and outdoor installations.
  • Handling heavy or bulky materials.

How to choose a lifting or securing system

Equipment must be chosen according to the load, the operation and the actual working conditions.

  • Load weight: it must not exceed the capacity indicated by the manufacturer.
  • Shape and dimensions: a long, irregular or delicate load may require several support points.
  • Type of operation: vertical lifting, pulling, lashing, transport or horizontal movement.
  • Anchor point: it must be compatible with the load and the equipment used.
  • Environment: humidity, dust, temperature, corrosive products or outdoor use.
  • Frequency of use: for intensive work, more durable equipment should be selected.
  • Regulations and marking: check the safety instructions, certifications and usage limits of each product.

Never exceed the indicated maximum load

Lifting, lashing and securing elements must always be used within their rated capacity and following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Poor equipment selection, an incorrect working angle or a badly balanced load can reduce the real capacity of the system and increase risk during the operation.

Inspection and maintenance

Before each use, chains, hooks, slings, straps, seams, latches, anchor points and locking systems should be checked.

Deformed, cut, worn, rusty, cracked components or components with illegible identification markings must not be used.

Maintenance and periodic inspection help extend equipment service life and maintain operational safety.
