Elesa lubricants and greases for professional maintenance

Elesa lubricants and greases are intended for the maintenance of machinery, vehicles, tools, mechanisms and equipment subject to friction, humidity, pressure or continuous movement.

Proper lubrication helps reduce direct contact between surfaces, limit wear, protect against corrosion and extend component service life.

NLGI consistency grades

The NLGI classification indicates the consistency of a grease, from semi-fluid products to firmer formulations.

  • NLGI 000, 00 and 0: fluid greases used in certain gearboxes and centralised greasing systems.
  • NLGI 1: soft consistency for specific applications and systems requiring good pumpability.
  • NLGI 2: common grade in many general applications and bearings.
  • NLGI 3: more consistent grease for applications requiring greater permanence at the lubrication point.

Which NLGI grade is used in bearings?

Are all greases suitable for centralised lubrication?
