Volvo Penta takes an important step forward by adding new technology and improved functions to its new electric generation engines. The 16-liter TWD1645GE has been designed to produce up to 10% more power compared to previous models to deliver a market-leading independent power supply. Thanks to its interchangeable RPM parameters, it can be used anywhere in the world.

The new 16-liter engines include: dual-stage turbochargers and new high-quality steel pistons, for excellent power density; optimized combustion with electronic high-pressure unit injectors, resulting in high fuel economy and low levels of exhaust emissions; Improved wiring harness for optimal insulation in difficult environments; two-circuit cooling package; and an advanced engine control system.

The motor can be used for main power, in places such as construction sites where there is no power supply, and as backup power for sites such as hospitals that need a backup electricity supply in case the normal power supply fails.</ span>
