Broadband distribution amplifier for terrestrial TV. It separately amplifies the VHF bands plus interbands and the UHF band. Each band has a gain regulator and a variable equalizer, which, being independent, make it easy to adjust levels. It is powered by a built-in power supply.
APPLICATIONS
They are used as a distribution amplifier in large collective installations or cable networks.
These installations are characterized by having long runs of cable that attenuate the signal and unbalance it, further attenuating the higher frequency channels.
Distribution amplifiers compensate for this attenuation with the equalizer and amplify the channels adding as little noise as possible.
Separate band amplifiers do not amplify the highest interband channels.
