Characteristics of the F-5 PN16 Gate Valve Elastic Closure and Ductile Casting

It can withstand up to 70° C.
Ductile cast iron adds iron alloys to its structure that prolong its life and improve its efficiency.
Thanks to the elastic closure it is possible to correct the flow of the water or the liquid being transported.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

•  Manufacturing range: DN 50 to DN 600.
•  Designed according to the EN1074-2 standard.
• Flange dimensions according to UNE-EN 1074-2 standard.
• Body, lid and door meet the mechanical requirements of the UNE-EN 1563 standard.
•  Gate lining and rubber gaskets made of EPDM complying with UNE-EN 681-1 standard.
• AISI420 stainless steel spindle in accordance with UNE-EN 10088-1:2006 standard.
•  Spindle nut: cybre alloy according to UNEEN 1982:2009 standard.
• Stationary spindle.
•  Clocking clockwise, possibility on request counterclockwise.
•  Non-retention zones.
•  Low pressure loss.

COATING

• Body, lid: epoxy polyamide coating (average thickness 250µ, RAL 5017), according to UNEEN-14901 standard.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Service conditions: 0º C <Tª<70ºc.

• Tests carried out and established according to EN 1074-2, EN 12266-1.
