The Armtex One classic extruded rubber flat fire hose is used by the fire department. It is also very useful in the petrochemical industry and for highly abrasive tasks.
Characteristics of the flat fire hose
The flat fire hose is made of extruded rubber.
Know its characteristics:
With coating to withstand from -30 °C to 80 °C.
Its resistance to abrasion, ozone and chemical substances has been proven. TIPSA tables are provided if necessary
It is available in 15 m, 30 m and, for special orders from Electro Channel, 200 m.
Brick red is the standard color.< br />Other colors available upon request.
Applications:
Designed and recommended for extinguishing fires, especially in municipal fire departments, petrochemical and nuclear plants, armed forces and other industrial services.
Construction:
Made of 100% high tenacity circularly woven synthetic yarn, fully protected and enclosed by a tough, highly durable synthetic nitrile rubber and PVC blend, extruded through the fabric, forming a single homogeneous construction without the use of glues or adhesives.
Coating properties:
one. Maximum tensile strength of the coating: guaranteed minimum value of 1750 psi (12,000 kPa).
B. Maximum elongation:
450% minimum.
Abrasion resistance:
In very extreme conditions where abrasion is the most serious concern, ARMTEX ONE will extend the life of the hose. Excellent abrasion resistance when tested in accordance with FM2111 and UL19 abrasion tests.
Service temperature range:
-22ºF (-30ºC) to 176ºF (80ºC). Special versions for higher and lower temperatures available upon request.
Ozone resistance:
No visible signs of cracking appear in the coating or cover when tested in accordance with Procedure B of ASTM D518, 100pphm / 104ºF (40ºC).
Chemical resistance:
Exposure to seawater and contamination by most chemicals, hydrocarbons, oils and greases does not affect the short or long term performance of the hose. A chemical resistance table is available and TIPSA will provide specific chemical resistance data upon request by the purchaser for unique applications.
Heat resistance:
The hose is capable of withstanding a surface temperature of 1112º F (600ºC) for a minimum of two minutes without breaking or damaging the synthetic reinforcement when subjected to a static pressure of 100 psi (700 kPa).
Lengths:
Standard 50 feet (15 m), 100 feet (30 m), 200 feet (60 m). Special lengths such as 330 feet (100 m) and 660 feet (200 m) are also available upon request.
Couplings:
As requested by the buyer; NH-Rocker Lug, Storz, Guillemin, Barcelona, etc.
